Baycon 2009 was held May 22–25, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara in Santa Clara, CA. The theme was "The Lost Sky City of Pyrocumulon". Author GoHs were Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon, Artist GoH was Tim Kirk, Fan GoH was Fred Patten, Special Guest was Chase Masterson, there was a Special Concert Appearance by Tempest, and Toastmaster was Jennifer Brozek.
