From April 7-9, 1956 a relaxicon called "Relaxacon" was held in the Carmel Valley of central California. It was organized by Les Cole, and attracted 18 people, mainly pros including Forrest J Ackerman, Evelyn Gold, Anthony Boucher, Mildred Clingerman, Miriam Allen de Ford, Roy Squires, Mari Wolf, Mel Sturais and others.
