Belle Wyman was likely the first fan brought into fandom by a grandchild. Forry Ackerman’s grandmother, she attended LASFL events in the 1930s and ’40s, as well as wrote locs on fanzines.
She’s listed among the “Fantasy Fictioneers” (members) in the 1940 Chicon program book.
