A Canadian conrunning fan who chaired the Winnipeg in '94 Worldcon bid and ConAdian, the 1994 Worldcon. He also chaired Due North in 2005 and OromoctoCon in 1970. He attended his first convention in 1966. He later ran the Winnipeg in 2003 Worldcon bid committee. He was a member of the Alberta Science Fiction Society.

He is married to fellow fan Linda Ross-Mansfield. He retired in 1990 after 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces.
