Russ Wood (sometimes Rus), a 1940s California fan and member of LASFS, contributed to such fmz as The Timebinder and published others.

In 1942, he and his wife, Mary Corinne “Pogo” Gray, founded the Harbor Fantasy League, a club to which only married couples could belong, and edited a clubzine, Pogorus, which was also the couple’s joint nickname.

Wood married Pogo on December 11, 1941 in Yuma, Arizona. They had a son together named Curtis. They appear to have later divorced. He died in Panorama City, California, in 1979.
