Windycon XVI was a convention held from November 10-12, 1989 at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield in Schaumburg, IL. Guests of Honor: Barry B. Longyear, David Lee Anderson, Beth Fleischer, Mike Glyer, Bob Passovoy. In addition there were three Special GoHs: George R. R. Martin, George Alexc Effinger and Lawrence Watt-Evans. In addition, ISFiC began sponsoring guests in this year: Yuri Kagarlitsky, Kathy Tyers, Mitchell Burnside-Clapp. (Whew!)
It was chaired by Lenny Wenshe and Bob Tucker was toastmaster.
