British conrunning fan Esther MacCallum-Stewart was chair of the Glasgow 2024 Worldcon bid and is chairing the subsequent Worldcon. She has worked on several other Worldcons and Eastercons and is part of the team behind Journey Planet.

In her day job, Esther is a professor of Game Studies at Staffordshire University, specializing in player behavior and analog games, including tabletop roleplaying games. She holds degrees from University of Sussex.
