Emanuel Lottem is an Israeli translator of fantasy and science fiction. Since the 1970s, he has translated dozens of books, including J. R. R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and Frank Herbert’s Dune, making him one of the most prolific Hebrew translators in the field.

Lottem was a founding member of the Israeli Society for Science Fiction and Fantasy, serving as its chair from 1996 to 2001. He was an editor, with Sheldon Teitelbaum, of the Zion's Fiction anthologies of Israeli sf in English.
