Eric S. Needham, a Manchester, U.K., fan, was active beginning as a teenager in the 1930s. He was co-editor of the OMPAzine Now & Then in the 1950s. He wrote comic sketches and humorous poetry, including inventing Widowers.
He was on the concom of SuperManCon in 1954. He gafiated in the late 1950s, but was coaxed back into contributing to Erg and a few other fanzines beginning in 1977.
