Australian fan Helena Roberts Binns was known as Margaret Duce when she joined the Melbourne Science Fiction Club as a teenager in 1958, after corresponding with Mervyn Barrett. Her artwork appeared in many fmz of the time.

She remained active into the 1960s, gafiated for some years, married Kelvin Roberts, and became a photographer.

She was the official photographer for Aussiecon I, and took many photos of Aussiecon II. After Kelvin died, she became involved in fandom again. She and Mervyn Binns were married in 1997.

She was one of the lifetime members of Continuum and of the Melbourne Science Fiction Club.
