Marguerite Smith is a U.S.-born Irish conrunning fan who started as a volunteer at her first Worldcon, Interaction (Glasgow, 2005), and was a Promotions Division Head for Dublin 2019 and a WSFS Deputy Division Head for CoNZealand in 2020. She worked on DisCon III as WSFS Deputy Division Head but quit in June 2021 when Nicholas Whyte and the entire Hugo Administration Team resigned; however, she returned to the concom as a vice chair in September. She was vice chair of the Glasgow in 2024 Worldcon bid and the subsequent Worldcon ands is one of the leaders of the Dublin in 2029 bid.
