Octothorpe is a biweekly podcast produced by John Coxon, Alison Scott and Liz Batty. It self-describes as 'a podcast about science fiction and SF fandom'.

The first episode was released on 24 March 2020, the day after the first UK Covid-19 lockdown. Its 100th episode was released on 4 January 2024. Episodes have been recorded live at Eastercons and Novacon in the UK and there have been occasional guest hosts including Marguerite Smith and Sandra Bond.

Octothorpe was a finalist for the Best Fancast Hugo in 2022 and 2023 and in 2022 it was shortlisted for the BSFA Award for non-fiction despite it being clearly ineligible.
