John Coxon is a British faneditor and podcaster originally from Peterborough who first encountered fandom through ZZ9 Plural Z Alpha, the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Appreciation Society. He attended the one-day plokta.con pi staged by James Bacon in 2006 and his first full convention was Contemplation, the 2007 Eastercon

From 2006 he edited the fanzine Procrastinations and between 2018 and 2022 he produced Lulzine with España Sheriff. He also edited Eastercon LX’s newsletter, The Voice, and been a guest editor of some issues of Journey Planet for which he has received two Hugo nominations.

In March 2020, and along with Liz Batty and Alison Scott, he launched the fannish podcast Octothorpe. It was a Hugo Award finalist in 2022 and 2023 and its 100th episode was released on January 4, 2024.

He lives in Newcastle with his wife, España Sheriff.
