A club (also known as Melvyn and CASFS) founded in 1979 and located in Phoenix, AZ and which sponsors CopperCon and ConNotations. It has also been called the Central Arizona Science Fiction Literary Society.

The founding officers were Bruce Dane, Curt Stubbs, Gigi Dane, Halde Hildebrand, Bruce D. Arthurs, Mahala Stubbs and Paul Schaubel.
