A bid to hold the 2004 Worldcon in Charlotte, NC which was led by Irv Koch. Its opposition was Nieuw Amsterdam in 2004 and the winning Boston in 2004 bid which went on to run Noreascon 4. See 2004 Worldcon Site Selection.
