Alan Aaron Katerinsky is a fan and speculative poet from Buffalo, NY. A second-generation fan, he is the son of Ricky Slavin.

In mundane life, he is a clinical assistant professor in the Managerial Science department at the University at Buffalo. He has also been an infantryman, an encyclopedia salesman and worked in pipe organ construction.
