Bruce Charles Briant was an LA fan and costumer. He was a member of the Costumers Guild West, serving as dean of its Costume College in 1996–97, and he co-chaired Costume-Con 18 in 2000. He belonged to LASFS, which he joined March 27, 1986, and was involved in the University of California-San Diego sf club in the 1980s.

Briant was married, for a time, to fellow fan Bridget Landry; they had a daughter, Samantha, in 2001, but later divorced.
