Lancer Books was a publisher of paperback books from 1961 through 1973.
Operated by Irwin Stein and Walter Zacharius, it published stories in a number of genres; but it was most noted for its SF and fantasy books.
One of its most popular series was the Conan the Barbarian tales of Robert E. Howard. Many of these tales were first published in paperback by Lancer.
