When the license to use the Weird Tales name was terminated with the Spring 1994 issue, the magazine took the new title of Worlds of Fantasy & Horror, retaining the same format as the 1988-1994 version of Weird Tales.
The magazine kept the new title for four issues: Summer 1994, Spring 1995, and Summer and Winter, 1996.
