(March 15, 1937 -- May 2013)

Fan artist who published a fanzine Sata in the 50s. In the 60s he did art for other fanzines, including Xero, Amra, Vega, and Yandro. For a time he (secretly) did art under the name Art Lee.

SF magazines he worked for included Amazing, Fantastic, Galaxy, If, Infinity, and Other Worlds.

Early in his career he worked as an assistant to SF and comic book artist Wallace Wood, and later contributed art to both Marvel and DC comic books. In the late 1950s-early 1960s, he worked as a professional SF magazine and comic book artist.
