Al Fitzpatrick was a fan originally from York, England. He moved to Australia, where he was involved in fandom, and later to the U.S., where he was a member of Minnstf in the late 1970s.
He died of Covid-complicated pneumonia. At the time of his death he was living in New Jersey, about 25 miles from New York City, where he worked in a plastics factory.
