Shelley Belsky (born Neil I. Belsky and nicknamed Bear) was a New York fan first active in the 1970s who also lived in Pittsburgh, Minneapolis, and Boulder, CO; as well as 14 years in Canada. Belsky organized LICon in 1978 and was a founder of Hexacon, chairing at least Hexacon 1 in 1979 and Hexacon 4 in 1982.
