From Fancyclopedia 2, ca. 1959
The word "blesh" appears in Ted Sturgeon's Baby Is Three, being a portmanteau word combining blend with mesh -- or bleshing them, if you prefer. It survives as a closing occasionally used in letters, probably by confusion with Blossings.
