| (Connor-Bradley) The initials stand for Palmer's Unpaid, or sometimes Prozine Unpaid. Formed in 1954; membership composed of fan authors and new pro writers who were conned into giving manuscripts to deadbeat editors like Ray Palmer, and who were never paid even though their stories were printed. It has only one slogan, unsuitable for quotation in a publication for the home and family. |
