A British fan and conrunner who co-founded Cymrucon-1981 with Lionel Fanthorpe.
Living in Glasgow since 1984, he has been active in the local fandom and worked on many of the cons run in the city. An IT Professional, based at Glasgow University for many years, he founded the website UK Science Fiction Archive, hosted the Ansible website and created the 1995 Worldcon Website, one of the first such.
